I am so happy to have surfed into your site today! The videos are amazing. I adopted a Chartreux four years ago from Blue Cat Farm in NH. She was 2 then, an alpha female with stunning orange eyes in a bright lamplight. The breeder gave her to me as a gift to be my Companion Animal for the Disabled. She follows me. Have you ever seen a cat watch a human write, nose to paper? I appreciate the films and will show them to my friends for sure.

8:32pm 03-21-2011 Barbara: Found your site through Cat Fancy Magazine. Wonderful site. I have a 9 year old cat that I adopted from a NYC Police Officer. He rescued her mother and mom had 7 kittens. I have one of them. She looks very much like a Chartruex. All of her actions and attitude is Chartruex. Eyes are just a little lighter then photos I have seen. She is very attached to me. Enjoyed looking at your site and photos.

Last Christmas, I lost a wonderful cat named Alexandria, whom I'd only had for 3 years as an adult rescue. After days of research by personality types and pictures, I learned she was a Chartreux-mix. That was my first introduction to this wonderful breed. The bond I had with Alexandria was amazing... she was very wise, intelligent, and loyal. Thank you for perpetuating this breed! 3:02am 09-26-2010 Cherree Adams: I was watching the Animal Plant when for the first time I saw the Chartreux. I have fallen in love with this wondeful breed. They are the most superb cat I have ever seen. I would love to own one.

8:06pm 08-08-2010 Jorge martinez: I believe i may have a chartreux. She has that wonderful double bluish coat and is a healthy 16lbs. Molly has that great goldenish i color. When hot she lays on bathroom floor on her back with legs spread out like she is staked to the ground. She also sits with front paws crossed. She also has a favorite magazine that she flips thru one page at a time.she loves to jump in the shower with me. She is tempermental. She very comical. How can i tell if she is a chartreux? Thanks

Fabulous site, informative, educational, interactive and great stories. Nice group of photos and the interlaced graphics are nice. Very easy to navigate the site. Pages are wider than my monitor, had to scroll right. This may be on my end, not sure.

   I began ownership of a chartreux cat with a web search and a survey which picked this breed out for me. I then researched and fell in love with this breed. My first blue cat was an adopted retired breeding female who almost lost her life trying to deliver kittens. I contacted the breeder to see if she had a retired cat. Violet came into our family 1 year ago this Christmas. I adore this cat and she is truly a member of our family. She sleeps at the foot of my bed and follows me around the  house. Perhaps one day I will be able to get a kitten.
   I love your web site and your special cats are beautiful.
